An assertive, lights-out shooting performance fueled an incredible Indiana Fever vs Las Vegas Aces recap that ended in a stunning 109-75 blowout at the Michelob ULTRA Arena. The 34-point margin marked the second-largest margin of victory in Fever franchise history. The win leaves Indiana with a commanding 3-1 record on their latest road swing, while completely exposing perimeter defense gaps for the host Aces.

Offensive Masterclass Backed by Historic Milestones

Indiana ran away with the game early by capitalizing on cold second-half shooting from Las Vegas. The Fever built an authoritative edge, powered by spectacular individual efforts from their star backcourt:

• Kelsey Mitchell Stars: Mitchell led all scorers with 27 points. During her run, she also notched a three-pointer that lifted her to No. 7 all-time in WNBA history. She also set a franchise record with her 38th consecutive double-digit game.

• Caitlin Clark Rewrites the Books: Clark continued her rookie brilliance. She officially became the fastest player in WNBA history to record 600 career assists.

• Balanced Frontcourt Support: Sophie Cunningham contributed 20 points, while Aliyah Boston added 19 points to completely paralyze the Aces inside the paint.

Indiana took control with a nine-point lead in the first quarter and never looked back. Both Boston and Mitchell scored in double digits during a dominant second frame to stretch the lead out of reach.

Aces Plagued by Fatigue and Cold Shooting

For the home crowd in Nevada, the game turned sour quickly. Las Vegas looked visibly exhausted while playing their third game over a grueling four-day stretch.

A’ja Wilson battled hard inside to try and keep the Aces afloat. She ultimately finished the night with a double-double, recording 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 2 blocks. However, she found little support across the rest of the roster. Jackie Young was the only other Las Vegas player to crack double figures with 15 points. Point guard Chelsea Gray managed 6 assists and 9 points, but poor perimeter defense constantly allowed Indiana wide-open looks from beyond the arc.

The victory improves Indiana’s standing to 14-9 on the regular season. Meanwhile, the defending champion Aces slide to 17-7 following the uncharacteristic defensive collapse on their home.
